The Blitzz U11 B White team had a challenging
weekend! At Helena, the Blitzz came out on top of a slugfest with
Stevensville Sabres Green, 6-5. Goals for the Blitzz came from
Charlie Eichenberger (2), Nate Hense (2), Connor Brown, Ryan
Garnsey, and Eli Harris (although one was called back for offsides
and I missed which!). Assists went to Ben Hietala, Charlie, and
Nate. In the second game, the Blitzz recovered from a 1-2 halftime
deficit to beat Stevensville White 5-3, with goals from Nate (2),
Charlie (2), and Casey Simeone.
On Sunday the Blitzz played friendlies against
Jackson Hole Black U11 (losing a great game by a 4-2 score – both
goals by Ryan Garnsey) and Sawtooth (Ketchum, ID) Blizzard U12,
losing 7-3 (goals from Eli (2) and Ben and an assist from Nate).
Keepers for the weekend included Ryan, Casey, Austin Collins, and
Connor. |

VS. Jackson Hole: Blitzz won a hard fought battle 4-2. Goals by
Michael Dvorsak (2), Mike Galli (1) and Connor Ault (1). Riley
McNeil guarded the goal box for the entire game and did so very
well! One of Michael D.'s goals was a header off a corner kick,
breaking a 2-2 tie and bringing the fans to a screaming frenzy!! |
