The Blitzz White U11-B team began their season
on a perfect day at the Belgrade Middle School field. Against
Belgrade, Ben Hietala netted a hat trick, Eli Harris scored twice,
and Charlie Eichenberger and Austin Collins each tallied once as the
Blitzz beat the Belgrade Rage 7-1. Austin Collins and Casey Simeone
were strong in goal, yielding only a single penalty-kick goal. In
the Blitzz’ second game, the Great Falls Thunderbolts Silver team
earned a 3-0 lead, but the Blitzz roared back on two goals from
Hietala and one from Collins for a 3-3 draw. Ben Hietala and Eli
Harris in goal had spectacular saves and only the T’bolts keepers
and the woodwork kept the Blitzz from a win. |
