REVIEW OF POLICY ISSUES
Refunds: Once a player is assigned to a team there will be no refunds.
Scholarships: limit to 3% of number of club enrollees – must qualify for Federal Lunch Program. Managers eligible for 50% scholarship upon request.
Grievance: Player is the club member, not the
parent/guardian. The club has a zero tolerance policy regarding parental
behavior.
REGIONALS
2008 in Honolulu – the state decided unanimously that
Montana will forego the upcoming regional tournament in Hawaii. The
Blitzz will list alternate tournaments for teams to attend in lieu of
Regionals.
FIELDS
3300 youth soccer players in Gallatin Valley. Huge
shortage of fields. We will be losing the Babcock fields this spring as
that is the site for the new elementary school. The club needs a
liaison/rep from the Blitzz to attend City Council and County Commission
meetings. Carol Diffendaffer offered to be the rep.
ENROLLMENT
Online Registration. This year’s tuition is $395.
UNIFORMS
Working on renewing contract with Puma.
Would like to set up a uniform exchange program through the team managers.
Ordering info available in January. Cost:
1. $96.50 for 2 jerseys, 1 pair shorts, 2 pair socks. Include number and logo.
2. $65 for Jacket and pants warm ups.
3. $32 Hoodies
T-shirt bonus to first 300 registrants from Universal
1st 50 registrants put in for drawing for Puma cleats
COACH
Staff is highly licensed, with three “C” licensed coaches
Chris Beausoleil has an open door policy – wants to hear
from the parents
VOLUNTEERS
The club needs parent input. There will be 3 open board positions in January.
