Present: Kerry Hatcher, Andy Epple, Bill Robinson, Britt Bodtker, Jen Gummer, Chris Beausoleil, Bruce Cole

  1. Britt Bodtker to replace Jen Gummer as Admin/Registrar starting next season.

  2. Scholarship wording: “not in excess of up to 3% of enrollees.” Applicants must be enrolled in Federal Lunch Program. Team Managers to receive ˝ scholarship upon request.

  3. Universal will provide 300 T-shirts with Blitzz Logo (worth $2000) to be given to first 300 registrants. They will be ready 10/15. 1st 50 to register will be eligible for drawing for free pair of Puma soccer cleats. Uniforms – one more year with Puma.

  4. President Report: Go to website and review the online registration. Let Jen Gummer know any suggestions or improvements. The online registration will be accessible as of 10/1/07.

  5. Head Coach Report: Suggestion to form a year round league in the Yellowstone Area separate from USYSA, U11 – U19, similar to the “Red Bull League” which has the top 20 teams in the nation.

  1. I. INTRODUCTION BY KERRY HATCHER

    1. Presented U17 Boys Fair Play award from Regionals to Chris Beausoleil
       

  2. REVIEW OF POLICY ISSUES

    1. Refunds: Once a player is assigned to a team there will be no refunds.

    2. Scholarships: limit to 3% of number of club enrollees – must qualify for Federal Lunch Program. Managers eligible for 50% scholarship upon request.

    3. Grievance: Player is the club member, not the parent/guardian. The club has a zero tolerance policy regarding parental behavior.
       

  3. REGIONALS

    1. 2008 in Honolulu – the state decided unanimously that Montana will forego the upcoming regional tournament in Hawaii. The Blitzz will list alternate tournaments for teams to attend in lieu of Regionals.
       

  4. FIELDS

    1. 3300 youth soccer players in Gallatin Valley. Huge shortage of fields. We will be losing the Babcock fields this spring as that is the site for the new elementary school. The club needs a liaison/rep from the Blitzz to attend City Council and County Commission meetings. Carol Diffendaffer offered to be the rep.
       

  5. ENROLLMENT

    1. Online Registration. This year’s tuition is $395.
       

  6. UNIFORMS

    1. Working on renewing contract with Puma.

    2. Would like to set up a uniform exchange program through the team managers.

    3. Ordering info available in January. Cost:

      1. 1. $96.50 for 2 jerseys, 1 pair shorts, 2 pair socks. Include number and logo.

      2. 2. $65 for Jacket and pants warm ups.

      3. 3. $32 Hoodies
         

    4. T-shirt bonus to first 300 registrants from Universal

    5. 1st 50 registrants put in for drawing for Puma cleats
       

  7. COACH

    1. Staff is highly licensed, with three “C” licensed coaches

    2. Chris Beausoleil has an open door policy – wants to hear from the parents
       

  8. VOLUNTEERS

    1. The club needs parent input. There will be 3 open board positions in January.
